Our Goal

Gamezone Post publishes evergreen explainers and guides about strategy and simulation games. Our goal is accuracy and clarity. This page explains how we choose topics, how we check facts and what we do when we get something wrong.

How We Choose Topics

We focus on questions players genuinely ask and that stay relevant beyond a single patch or sale: how a game system works, how to get started in a series, how subgenres differ, and how a series or studio developed over time. We avoid rumours, leaks, unconfirmed release dates and content that depends on this week’s update. We do not publish betting, gambling or loot-box promotion content.

Research and Fact-Checking

Game mechanics are checked against official sources where possible: developer and publisher websites, in-game tutorials and manuals, official patch notes and official or well-maintained community wikis.
Release dates, developers, platforms and series history are checked against official pages, established reference works and reputable gaming outlets.
Because games change with patches and expansions, we state the point in time a detail refers to where it may change, for example “as of 2026”.
If we cannot verify a claim, we leave it out. We do not invent quotes, statistics, sales figures or personal play experiences.

Sources

Each article ends with a list of the main sources we used, linked so readers can check them. We prefer primary sources such as developer sites, official documentation and official wikis.

Use of AI Tools

AI tools assist our team with research organisation and drafting. Every article is then fact-checked against sources and edited by a person before publication. Responsibility for what we publish rests with our editorial team, not with any software.

Authorship

Articles are published under the pen name Owen Calloway, which represents our small independent editorial team. We do not attribute credentials or experience to the pen name that we do not have.

Corrections

If you find an error, or a guide has been made outdated by a patch, please email [email protected] with the article link and, ideally, a source. We review every report. Factual errors are corrected promptly, and significant corrections are noted at the end of the article with the date of the update. We also review evergreen guides periodically when major updates or new entries change how a game works.
